Everybody hates politics. Solutions to this? Quite interesting. and quality is good too.
is it possible to see the raw footage of the love/hate and the full length interviews???
Muthoni raised a very important point about the MPs wanting to increase their salaries. How? i reapeat HOW? Can the members of parliament of THIS country even start thinking of increasing their salary to US$14,000! Again I repeat FOURTEEN THOUSAND AMERICAN DOLLARS. Excuse me? Is this not the same country where over half of the population lives under a dollar a day? The same country that has poor infrustructure, IDPs and bad healthcare? I mean seriously, it’s an insult to the Kenyan people. It’s bad enough that the majority of the budget goes to paying people’s salaries, but these same people are deeply involved in money laundering scandals left right and center. Case and point, the millions that were issued for the “bombing investigations”, to date there have been no conclusive results shown from these so called “investigations”. I’m led to think that, it was all a plan to line certain people’s pockets. They just needed a good enough reason/ event to legitimize the removal of a huge sum of money. Come on people!
@David – we’ll be releasing more footage from those sessions in the days to come – stay tuned!
Fact: Kenya government collectected 688b in taxes. New budget slates 675b for civil servant salaries and other non developmental projects. So those basic services we need to fix and provide we need to go figure where the cash will come from cos it’s not a PRIORITY!!!!!!!!
